Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use the Landmark Epoxy Flooring of Poinciana website, ask us for a quote or hire us for work. By using the site or booking a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.
In these terms, "we," "us" and "our" mean Landmark Epoxy Flooring of Poinciana, and "you" means the person or business using the site or hiring us. If a written quote, proposal or contract for your job says something different from these terms, that written document controls for that job.
The services we offer
We're a flooring contractor based in Poinciana, FL. We install, repair and prepare concrete floors for homes and businesses in Poinciana and the cities around it, including epoxy and polyaspartic coatings, polished and stained concrete, overlays, sealing and surface preparation. You can read more about our crew on our About page.
Descriptions, photos and samples on this site are general information. Colors, flake blends, metallic patterns and textures change with each batch, the lighting and the concrete underneath, so your finished floor may not look exactly like a photo or sample.
Nothing on this site is an offer to do work or a contract. A job starts only after we've agreed on the scope and the price with you.
Quotes and pricing
Quotes are free and given on site, because the condition of your concrete drives the price and we need to see it first. A quote covers only the work it describes, based on what we could see that day.
The price depends on the size of the floor, the condition of the slab, cracks and pitting that need repair, old coatings, paint or glue that have to come off, moisture in the concrete, the system and finish you pick, and how easy the space is to get to.
Some problems only show up once grinding starts, such as hidden damage, an old coating under paint or moisture coming up through the slab. If we find something that changes the work or the cost, we'll stop, explain it and get your approval before any added charge.
A quote is good for the period written on it. If it doesn't list one, check with us before you book, because material costs can change.
Scheduling and cancellation
We'll agree on a start date with you and work to keep it. Rain, humidity, cure times, material delays and earlier jobs running long can move a date, and if that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know and set a new one.
Before we arrive, please clear the area and give us the access to power and water your quote lists. Keep people, pets and vehicles off the floor during the work and for the cure time we give you, because walking or parking on a floor before it's ready can damage it, and that damage isn't covered.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, tell us as early as you can by calling (863) 366-5021 or through our contact page. If a deposit was paid or materials were ordered or mixed for your job, the cancellation terms in your quote or contract apply. Any cancellation rights you have under Florida law still apply.
Payment
Your quote or contract will list the price, any deposit and when payment is due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
We'll tell you which payment methods we accept before the job starts. If a payment is late, we may charge late fees or collection costs stated in your contract and allowed by Florida law, and we may pause further work until the account is current.
Our guarantee and warranty limits
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If something about the job isn't right, tell us and we'll come out and look at it.
Any specific warranty, including how long it lasts and what it covers, will be written in your quote or contract. Product makers may give their own warranties on their materials, and those are between you and the maker.
Concrete floors can be affected by things outside our control, such as moisture or movement in the slab, new cracks in the concrete, hot tires, spilled chemicals, heavy impacts and normal wear. Unless your written warranty says otherwise, we don't cover damage from these.
Except for the written warranty on your job, and as far as Florida law allows, our services and this website are provided "as is," without other warranties, express or implied. We try to keep the site accurate, but we don't promise that every page is complete or current.
Limits on our liability
As far as Florida law allows, Landmark Epoxy Flooring of Poinciana isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room or garage, lost business or lost profits, that come from our work or from using this site.
If we're found responsible for a loss on a job, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Settling a disagreement
If you have a problem with our work, call us first at (863) 366-5021 or reach us through our contact page, because most issues get fixed fastest by talking them through. We'll look at the floor and try to work it out with you.
If we can't settle it informally within a reasonable time, either of us may ask for mediation or take the matter to court as described in the next section.
Florida law applies
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Unless your contract says otherwise, any legal action about them will be brought in the courts serving the county where the work was done.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page. Changes apply from the day they're posted and don't change the terms of a job already agreed in writing.
If you have questions about these terms, call (863) 366-5021 or send us a message through our contact page.
